What I love about STOP & FLOW is how well it works to support talk therapy sessions. My clients say they find it easy to recall.
They can use it throughout their day to overcome all sorts of stressful situations. I enjoy and also rely on STOP & FLOW to create relief beyond the circumstances of my life.

Kathleen Gratien
BS Recreational Therapist | Certifed STOP & FLOW Facilitator
My day treatment recovery groups love STOP & FLOW!
Hearing clients report how relaxed they feel is hopeful and even those who choose not to physically participate say they feel better after.
I wasn’t sure I could facilitate the process but the training gave me both the skills and the confidence boost I needed to support myself and guide others.

Lloyd D. Mitchell
Addiction Treatment Services II | CASAC | Certified STOP & FLOW Facilitator
As a seasoned recovery professional, I returned to Crouse in March 2024 and was immediately intrigued by the buzz surrounding STOP & FLOW. Colleagues and clients alike shared stories of transformation, highlighting how this practice was reducing stress, managing cravings, and creating pathways to self-discovery. I knew I had to explore it further.
Now, as a Certified STOP & FLOW Facilitator, I’m proud to integrate this powerful method into my work. Seeing how it supports individuals in their recovery journey has reignited my passion for this field. Every interaction reminds me of the importance of fostering connection, resilience, and relief—not just for clients, but for myself as well.

Patti Strempel
Addiction Treatment Services II | CASAC | Certified STOP & FLOW Facilitator
With over 25 years of experience working with individuals with substance use disorders, I have had the privilege of standing in the gap and bearing witness to the challenges, transformation, and victory of overcoming the associated mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional pain individuals experience.
While there are many methods employed to facilitate change and to build bridges to healing, there is none so immediate and powerful as what STOP & FLOW can offer. The power of this method is evident after just even a 10-minute practice! Assisting individuals in the immediate reward of reduced stress, cravings, and pain has been powerful, encouraging, and inspiring. I am eager to share this practice and look forward to offering the restorative power of STOP & FLOW and the hope, relief, energy, and joy it fosters.

Addiction Treatment Services II | CASAC | Certified STOP & FLOW Facilitator
When I began hearing from my patients how fun and freeing STOP & FLOW was for them, it piqued my interest. I knew I wanted to learn more and share with my fellow colleagues who really could use the support.
It brings me so much joy now to facilitate and see participants move from feeling completely overwhelmed and in pain to feeling calm and empowered.
Getting certified has been transformative.
